Peter Sandhu (Founder)
A Visionary Leader with a Legacy of Public Service
Peter Sandhu is a distinguished former Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Edmonton-Manning (2008–2016), with over two decades of dedicated service to the Indian diaspora and Canadian communities alike. A passionate advocate for community empowerment, he has served on numerous legislative committees and held key advisory roles, including the Asia Advisory Council and the Pacific Northwest Economic Region (PNWER) Committee.
Peter’s career reflects his unwavering commitment to public service, transparency, and responsible governance. He has been an active member of the CPC party for over 35 years and served as President of the Edmonton–South Riding (2015–2019). His leadership has earned him multiple honors, including the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal, the Alberta Centennial Ambassador Award, and the Glory of India Award.
As a former President of the Sikh Federation of Edmonton and active volunteer in organizations such as the East Indian Community Council and Shri Guru Singh Sabha, Peter brings unmatched insight into the needs of both the Indian and broader Canadian communities.
Today, Peter Sandhu channels his wealth of experience into championing the legal and property rights of Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) around the globe.
